You know, if MGS3DS wants to get me they'll have to change a lot of MGS3. I don't want to just play the same game; I have the HD collection for all of that. No, I want a new version of the game. Some new dialogue, new setpieces, new variations on gameplay (that don't involve the shitty gyrofaggotry) and most of all non-canon shit. I want this game to break canon all over.
What I'm basically saying is, if MGS3 is Metal Gear for the MSX, I want MGS3DS to be Metal Gear for the NES.

A 3DS Metal Gear game could've been perfect if it was a VR Missions-type game.
Hell, they could even tie-it into the canon somehow. Like, you play as a VR rookie The Patriots used for testing before they got Jack. YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE PLAYING A SIMPLE MINI-GAME COLLECTION WHEN REALLY YOU WERE HELPING SOME ASSHOLES TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!!!!
You basically stole that idea that Ghost Babel was Jack's VR training exorsize.
Ghost Babel had a story. You expected some kind of conspiracy. Imagine playing MGS1 VR Missions for the PS1, and when you beat all the missions, a video plays that shows that the whole thing was a Patriot test and, since you're no longer needed, they cut off your life support while your mind is still hooked up to VR. Your conscious is trapped in their forever, forced to play the same missions over and over and over again.
I actually thought my idea had more in common with MGS Mobile.

After using it for a while you stop noticing 3D. It's really just a gimmick, and Nintendo, this time, have chosen the wrong gimmick. [not that touch screens are worth jack shit anyway.]
That's no good for a portable title. The idea of portable is that you live your life while playing this inbetween on a bus ride, train ride, lunch break, a method of playing with friends. The idea of being stuck in the game world doesn't apply if you're going into the game world whenever you have free time in the real world at your leasure, and being stuck in the game world with friends isn't assumably that much torture at first thought which is what you're going to give a portable game. Your idea won't work, I'm afraid, it won't create enough impact.
